Skate Park
About half a mile south from city hall, in the downtown Salt lake city area, sits a vacant lot. It is about 2 blocks square, the perfect area for the boys dream. Construction is set to begin in about a week. It should take no more than 4-6 weeks for complete construction. New asphault instead of concrete, but the skate pool will be made of concrete. There will be a half pipe, a quarter pipe. Several areas in the skate side with picnic tables and the sort, a few bar grinds, and enough are for a street skate comp size court. On the other side will be the canteen area, with outside and inside area, mad amounts of games and the such. Every vid game that can be though of. This will be put in the building adjacent to the park itself. As almost a separate intity, but still one in the same. It is a 3 story building. First floor will hold the games and canteen are, second floor will hold a mini bar area, id's ARE checked to get in there it is 18 and above, and a separate dining area as well. With an out look balcony. The canteen will serve the basics, like cheese burgers and the like. Pizza and so on and so forth. The park will be open 24 hours, the canteen however will only be open during the day, till about 10 or 11 pm or so about. The gear in the park will be cement bolted, to make for a safer skate enviroment, not as likely for the equipment to move and cause injury, and to keep it from being take off during the night.
